20 question Tuesday

Hello Gorgeous has a blog with twenty question tuesdays, I think I like it! I'm going to give it a go, try to stick to it every tuesday.

In your eyes, what’s Paradise?
Right now paradise or me would be a snow bound cabin, some popcorn and a good book.

Prized Possession
The first headstall I won on Hoka my first pony. I still have it and use it.

Favourite medium to work with and why?
Glass, I love the ability to layer transparents with it.

Flowers or chocolate?
Oh that's tough, I am a scent kinda gal so flowers. But chocolate is always tempting. Since I am trying for sugar free I'll pick flowers today.

Who influenced you the most?
I'd say my close friends, and positivity.

Who would you most like to go to Dinner with?
A group of good girlfriends. I miss having friends in the same town.

Top Cat or Banana Splits?
Banana Splits

Today I wore:
Yoga pants, tattoo inspired t shirt and my flowered gumboots.

Do you have a favourite online {bead, craft or textile} place to shop and would recommend
Etsy

What inspired you to do what you do?
My husband is always a strong supporter of everything I do.

McDreamy or McSteamy?
Steamy for sure. Funny thing my horses nickname is fattymcfatty.

If you could do anything else, what would it be?
Paint, watercolors.

Favourite item of clothing
Flannel PJ's

Best childhood memory
Skiing over the holidays with my family.

Most cringe-worthy moment
I've had several cringe worthy horse moments, having our old gelding bolt on me at a huge rodeo around the track was one of my least favorite life moments.

Favourite holiday destination
humm not sure I currently have one.

Which celebrity would you have as your best friend and why
I'll have to think on this, next week I'll tackle this question.

Best “crafty” tip you can offer
Keep your workspace tidy, it's hard to work when you can't find anything.

What’s your Star sign?
Libra

What would you most like to see happen next?
Next in general I'd like to see it snow!

“You're alive. Do something. The directive in life, the moral imperative was so uncomplicated. It could be expressed in single words, not complete sentences. It sounded like this: Look. Listen. Choose. Act.” Barbara Hall

Well today was day one of getting back into my walking/running schedule. I’ll admit it was hard to get out there. But once I did I felt great. It started to drizzle about 1/3 of the way through and it was actually a bit refreshing!

Sing!

“Those who wish to sing, always find a song.”

Swedish Proverb

I'll admit I've been in a tiny bit of a funk lately. It's been a busy month and I feel like I've gotten left behind creatively. I've been watching my amazing, talented friends create wonderful things while I've done literally nothing.

Today I was determined to spend the day in the garden, I didn't get the whole day but did spend the afternoon there. I got my the trees from my Dad's and Shelly's potted and all the pond plants situated. It created a wonderful little corner to my garden. A little bit of eye candy outside! Made me feel a bit better, like I'd "done" something.

Weekend = Relax

I am due for some downtime!

This morning I met with Jennifer Z and Chiarina L to plan out winter School House Studio event, I'm really excited to be a part of the studio and the event. Invites and info will come soon!

I had a beginner jewelry making class today, four very fun ladies! The time flew by. I got a chance to take a peek at the new show at Coast Collective and WOW lots of bright colors and stunning pieces. Gorgeous!

Tomorrow I hope to relax and spend some time in the garden. I have some pond plants to sort out, some trees to pot and some winterizing to do!

It's been a while

I know it's been a while since I posted a blog update! I've been in washington for two weeks, then off to our BC rodeo finals.

I decided late August to try and spend less time online. After being harassed, hassled and taunted on a online forum I decided life is too short to waste on such things. I decided to spend less time on the forums, then while away in washington I dropped my laptop and broke it! SO be careful what you wish for HA!

Laptop is fixed now so I'll get back to posting blog updates.

My husband had a decent rodeo finals, placing second overall. He was only 5 points behind the leader!

I have tons of new spinner rings to list on etsy. I'm heading up Island for a couple days to help my Dad pack up his house. They are moving out to Alberta, I'll admit I am a bit jealous I love it out there!
